Tyra has always had a love for music! She began at a very young age and was soon entertaining herself & others with voice and instrument.

Mrs. T, as she is known to her students, is passionate about music and the development of children. She was introduced to Music Together^® when her son was just a baby. After sitting in the parent role for 2 years, she decided to take the training necessary to teach this amazing program. After teaching for 3 terms, she then pursued achieving the Cert. 1 level of training, which she received in July '07.

Tyra lives in Red Deer with her wonderful husband Darryl, and her two fantastic kids, Eric & Mikayla. She has continually enjoyed her experiences in teaching and imparting her love for music to the families in her classes. It is a real thrill to hear the musical development in her students as they progress through the program. She looks forward to continuing that journey with you and your children!

Mikayla has been singing her entire life! She started attending Music Together classes from in the womb, so it's been a part of her life from the very beginning. She is so excited to be able to share her love of music making with her students!
